This is the first bed size quilt I made. It is for a full size bed. I made it for my cousin's graduation. I designed it with her wishes in mind: Use blue and green! Also I didn't have many fabrics, so I think I used almost all the different blue and green fabrics I could get my hands on...

It is hand quilted with a wavy pattern through each square. I hand appliqued the lizards. I included special fabrics, such as lace made by our great grandmother, some fabric from Niki's baby carrier, that burned ( I rescued good pieces of fabric), since Essi is his God Mother, and some fabric off one of her shirts from her childhood. And our grandmother's curtains... The border was mostly made up of these.
